We had five days of sailing in the beautiful Bay of Islands with our old friends Marion and Alan Porteous from Wellington. We hired a 25-foot yacht, in which we slept for the first two nights before migrating to the greater comfort of a shore-based cottage! After the sailing we spent three further days in the area, resting and seeing Maori friends.
